When is the movie schedule updated?
New sessions open weekly every Thursday with a midnight show on Wednesday, the night before.
Why could the movie session times at the box office be different from the ones listed on the newspapers or printed movie schedules?
The session times are normally submitted to newspapers and internet listings at least 3 days in advance and even earlier in the case of a public holidays. In the event of changes to the daily schedules, these cannot be reflected. Please check our website, apps, or at the box office for the latest up-to-date movie sessions.
Can tickets be booked in advance
Yes. Once the session timings have been made available, tickets can be booked in advance.
What are the working hours of The box office
Roxy Box Park
- Thursday to Monday - 2:00 pm to 12.00 am
Roxy The Beach
- Thursday to Monday - 12:00 pm to 1.00 am
Roxy City Walk
- Thursday to Monday - 12:00 pm to 1.00 am
Roxy Al Khawaneej
- Thursday to Monday - 11:00 am to 01.00 am
Can confirmed bookings be cancelled and refund requested?
Once a booking is confirmed and paid for, no cancellations or refunds will be allowed under any circumstances. All tickets sold are non-returnable and non-refundable, even if you do not collect your tickets or turn up for the movie.
Can a confirmed booking be changed?
Yes, but only at the box office of the Cineplex where the tickets were booked. This will be subject to seat availability for the movie session you want to change to. Changes must be made at the box office at least 2 hours before the original movie showtime. No changes can be made after the original movie has started.
At what age do children require tickets to enter?
Toddlers under 2 years can enter for free of charge , but will not be entitled to their own seat.
What are the Cinema’s Rules and Regulations?
1) Smoking is not allowed inside the cinema premises or the cinema halls.
2) Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the cinema halls. The cinema reserves the right to do random checks of all bags at the hall entrance.
3) All recording devices are strictly prohibited inside the cinema halls.
4) Guests under 18 years are only allowed at Roxy Platinum screens for shows starting no later than 6pm. After that, entry to Roxy Platinum will be restricted based on the movie ratings.
5) Roxy Cinemas strictly adheres to the film-rating regulations of the UAE and reserves the right to refuse admission if proof of age cannot be provided.
What are the Movie Ratings
Movie ratings are mandated by the National Media Council and are strictly adhered to at Roxy Cinemas. It’s the responsibility of guest to ensure that they purchase tickets in line with the listed movie-ratings. We regret that no refunds or exchanges will be applicable on any movie tickets purchased by guests not in-line with the movie ratings

ONLINE BOOKINGS
How Many tickets can be purchased in a single transaction?
There is a maximum purchase limit of 10 tickets per transaction. You may perform as many transactions as you wish.
Are there any online booking fees?
No there is no online booking fees.
How can purchased tickets be collected up?
1) Once tickets are purchased , guests will receive a confirmation email and SMS which will contain a booking ID and a QR code with all the ticket details
2) Once guests arrive at the cinema they can:
- Print their ticket from the Ticketing Kiosk available at the box office by entering the confirmation code
- Print their ticket from at the box office by quoting their confirmation code
- Gain entry to the cinema hall by using the QR code from their confirmation email which will be scanned by the usher
